Commonly Asked Questions

What are your hours, and do I have to drop off/pick up at a certain time?

We are open from 7am-6pm. We have an open-door policy, and you are welcome to drop off/ pick up at times that work best for your schedule. For our 2–5-year-olds, we have a “school hours” option of 8am-3pm if extended care is not needed.

Do you provide food?

We do not provide food. Parents are asked to pack a morning snack, lunch, and an afternoon snack. We have refrigerators in each classroom, but are not able to heat food for the students. We are a peanut-free facility. Check with your child’s teacher for other allergies.

Are you open all year?

We are a year-round program. Our “school year” begins in August and goes through the following July.

How do I get on the waitlist and how much does it cost?

We do not charge to be on our waitlist. Once you accept a spot that is offered to you, you will be charged enrollment fees. For more information on this process, please contact Sarah Wudtke, Director of Enrollment and Admissions, at sarah.wudtke@oslanashville.org

Do you offer a “Parent’s Day Out” or drop-in program?

Our infant and toddler program is full-time. The hours are 7am-6pm. Once children turn 2, there are a few other options available. Our 3-day program is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Our 5-day program is open Monday-Friday. We offer “school hours” (8am-3pm) or “extended care” (7am-6pm) as well.

Are all teachers CPR certified?

The majority of our staff are CPR, First Aid, and AED certified. Those that are not are trained and asked to certify within the first year of employment.
